プリンス/Reflections Vol.2 (1DVDR)

あるとは知りながら見逃していたり、ニュース映像だと思ってコレクションしていなかったりしたものが収録されていたり、そんな重箱の隅をつつくナイスなリリースのReflections。その続編が登場です。今回は特にFor Dummies、つまりプリンスを決して良くは思っていない人たち、身長が低いとか、女癖が悪いとか、そういったネガティブな視点で集められている、超マニアックな映像集です。プリンス直筆の手紙が登場したり、プリンスのトリビアを英文で説明してくれるものだったり、粘土細工のプリンスが登場してプリンス・チャールズと戦ったりするのは大笑いです。またD&Pのパールちゃんのその後、なんて知りたい人は多いのではないでしょうか。まだCDを多く売ることが出来た時代のミュージッコロジーのコマーシャルも、ツアーと絡めて複数収録。押しなべてクオリティーは素晴らしいですし、83年のSolid Goldや96年のVH-1のヴィデオ・ブレイクも過去最高だといえます。こんなのあったんだ、あるとは思っていたけど、知らなかった、そんなプリンス・マニアは必携の映像集です。
