NLシリーズ！ジェームス・ブラウン/Live At The Apollo 1979 (2CDR)

アポロ・シアターでのライブ、ジェームス・ブラウンにおいては変な演奏をするわけにはいかない聖地のような場所です。79年はディスコの波にもまれ不遇な時、とされていますが、やはりライブでは最高の演奏を披露しています。79年11月30日のアポロ・シアターでのライブをDisc 1、そしてDisc 2は別音源で正確な日付は不明ですが、おそらく別の日であろうアポロでのライブを収録。オーディエンス録音ですが、当時としては素晴らしい音質です。リン・コリンズとのRock Me Again, again, againのライブバージョンとか凄いレアです。他にPeopleやMy Thangとかこの時しかしない曲がプレイされています。そして74年のライブを2種、World Wide In Concertと12月4日のAquairius シアターでの演奏、こちらもThe BossやJBズの曲など大変レア且つ素晴らしい内容となっています。
