プリンスのオフィシャル関連の音源はAnthologyというタイトルが現在Vol.11までリリースされており、そのコレクションの量では絶大なるものとなっています。しかし今回リリースされるものは、音質の点を追求したものです。まずAnthologyが原則アナログ盤からの起こしであることもあり、今回は基本的にはCD、そしてデジタル配信されているものを中心に収録、そしてアナログからのものもリマスタリングを施し、Anthologyを凌駕する音質を実現しています。エクステンド・バージョンを収録した2CDR、更にスペシャル・エディションとしてプリンスの初期のプロモーションクリップ集1DVDRが付きます。今回現存するプロモのオリジナルから収録、画質が過去最高のものとなっています。また放送されたことがないものなどもオリジナルを可能な限り入手、収録しております。またロング・バージョンの他にエディット・バージョン、そして微妙なバージョン違いのものも全て収録、どれもが最高画質となっています。
